Crusty Baguette
Sometimes happiness is found in items meant for simplicity. Bread for example. It’s meant for nourishment, but through that nourishment, a feeling is elicited. Pleasure. Pleasure on the tongue, warmth, and fullness in the stomach, energy in the body, inspiration in the brain. That inspiration in the brain might widen the eyes, which then let in more light. More light begets more inspiration, not to mention dilated pupils and those fun dark spots that come after staring at the sun too long…One thing leads to another, and then, suddenly, you are conquering your day, the world even – you are on top of the world, tap dancing. And just think, your tap dance on top of the rotating earth, with the sun as your spotlight and aliens as your audience, was all sparked from a simple loaf of crusty baguette. Sophie gets my point, just look at her…she is basking in the glow of aliens clapping with their odd fingers and hands (do aliens call their hands, hands, btw)? My point is: Enjoy the little things. Those little things lead to big things and big things lead to world domination. Oh, and happiness.
