Succulence

Succulence. How special. To kiss your partner with such passion, such connection, such emotion…especially when you’re feeling overly emotional/upset/unsettled/irrational. To have that one person in the world who means the most to you (for me, you know who you are) take it all away with gentle kisses and affectionate touches…how arousing! Speaking of succulence….succulents, the plant. The name is weird, right? Succulence implies lushness, moistness, tenderness….and succulents are dry, arid, and spikey. Upon some research, succulents get their name because of the thick, fleshy, sap-filled leaves that are their trademark (oh yeah, sap!). These leaves allow them to hold and retain water more effectively than plants with thinner leaves. So basically, their outside appearance does not reflect what’s on the inside. They have a protective shell, like anything and everything that lives and breathes in this world. I should really consult botanists more often. Philosophical life lessons being learned here people. Kiss a succulent succulent today.
