Look into the Future

Marian recognizes AL’s, 'Hmm…now that’s an interesting woman. I think I might fancy her...perhaps she is a prospect for me, perhaps I will pursue her?' look. It’s like she can see the future: Anne will pursue Ann, court her, piss off Mrs. Priestly, fall in love with her, things will get complicated, Scotland will come into play, she will be angry, she will be heartbroken, but in the end, she will get her lady on top a hill, next to a broken coal pit.

Reminds me of when I saw into the future of a friend of mine and told her what I saw. She got so mad! I mean, sure…I was just telling her that I saw she would trip and fall into a puddle someday…then I tripped her and made her fall into a puddle right afterwards. But still, I thought it was impressive. Since that day my resume includes “Seer of the Future, Knower of Fates.” Surprisingly, not a highly sought after qualification, but hey ho. 🤷‍♀️
