Shadows

The suggestion of a shadow can be deceptive. Shadows suggest all sorts of things. A tiny squirrel eating a walnut might suggest a pensively creepy axe murderer in the deep recesses of your garden bed, for example. Shadow puppets! Or…a pear might look like a shapely, curvaceous woman (I only made that mistake once, for the record). In this clip, however, the suggestions of the shadows we see aren’t playing tricks on us. Those shadows really do suggest what the subject itself is, and they are as sexy and beautiful as we think. And, as a mental exercise, we should allow ourselves to appreciate these shadow suggestions for awhile, don’t you think?
