Power Within
A wind gust I am, inside my sweet dreams
I whirl through farm fields, deep valleys, blue streams
And glide to new heights, through dense clouds I soar
Fly into the sun, and enter its core
Next I resurface, as rays of sunshine
I blanket the land, no shadows to find
The warmth of my light, heats up the ocean
I’m then in the sea, photon in motion
Wind meets the surface, now I’m a wave
From power within, a path do I pave
I dive to the depths, by thousands of feet
Past coral and whales, until all is bleak
Reaching the bottom, I scan its expanse
Reclaim its beauty, give sea life a chance
When I reemerge, a pearl in a shell
I sprawl on the beach, clean air do I smell
A child finds me there, then picks me right up
She treasures her find, I bring her good luck
And when she has died, I adorn her neck
Then enter the earth, to take the next step
I seep into roots, a tree am I now
My leaves breathe new life, new essence somehow
And when life’s sustained, it’s time to return
Entering the air, I take what I’ve learned
A wind gust I am, inside my sweet dreams
I fly to the sun, once more shall I beam
